PRAYER

Prayer is a 2-way conversation with God

Prayer has many forms: Praising

Repenting

Asking

Your thanking God

Silence

Jesus promised that if we pray in His Name, we will be answered

Mary is the most powerful human intercessor for us before God’s throne

Both rote prayers and ad-hoc prayers have their uses

God answers every prayer -- just not always the way we want

Our earnest prayers can change what God’s allows to happen (e.g., at Nineveh)

We can pray directly to God, or through the saints, or both

Pursuing the Christian life requires prayer (Jesus Himself prayed to the Father)

Mary asked us to pray the Rosary daily

Prayer before Jesus in the tabernacle is especially strengthening

Add a prayer a day, and you’ll be amazed at the results!
