HAIL AND BLESSED BE THE HOUR AND MOMENT IN WHICH THE SON OF GOD WAS BORN OF THE MOST PURE VIRGIN MARY, AT MIDNIGHT, IN BETHLEHEM, IN PIERCING COLD. IN THAT HOUR, VOUCHSAFE, O MY GOD! This novena was found at the back of Church after mass. The pastor of the Catholic Church had them in bulk and obviously wanted us to take them.

St Andrew's feast day is Nov 30. Per the Orthodox tradition he is the first called of the disciples. It is at least 100 yrs old and may have come out of Ireland. It is perfectly timed at the Advent season.
